By virtue of his experience working at a large international law firm, and later at a mid-sized firm, Dheeraj has a wide practice base that not only included bankruptcy and insolvency law, it spanned from commercial litigation to corporate transactional matters. In his individual practice, he focuses on representing small to mid-sized corporations in Chapter 11 reorganizations. He also represents creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings. He has been approved as counsel for the debtor-in-possession in a number of Chapter 11 matters.
He is a trusted advisor to a number of companies and high net worth individuals who need the protection of Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings to reorganize. In working with his Chapter 11 corporate clients, Dheeraj works closely with the debtor to traverse through the bankruptcy process such that the debtor can emerges from bankruptcy as a profitable enterprise – a result that enables more people to keep their jobs and ensures creditors are paid more than if the company were to be liquidated in a Chapter 7 business bankruptcy.
In litigation, he has been involved with disputes arising in many different areas of law, including general commercial business disputes, breaches of contract, patent infringement, trademark and copyright infringement, False Claims Act, real estate and entertainment law.
As a transactional lawyer, he has assisted clients with forming and dissolving corporations, licensing intellectual property rights and completing acquisitions. He has worked on small deals, as well as large multimillion dollar transactions.

Prior to founding DCDM Law Group, PC, Dheeraj practiced at a large and a mid-sized law firm. He also served in the law department of the world’s largest energy company.
He has been recognized as a Top Attorney by the Pasadena Magazine, which asks attorneys to vote for fellow attorneys who are known to be the best in their chosen area. Dheeraj has received the honor for three years running – 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Dheeraj is a highly credentialed legal professional. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA and his Juris Doctorate from the UC Davis School of Law.
Dheeraj is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Pasadena Bar Association. He has also serves as a panel arbitrator for attorney-client disputes filed with the San Gabriel Valley Bar Association.
In his free time, he enjoys the time he spends with his two children. Each week during soccer season, he looks forward to coaching his son’s AYSO soccer team. He is also an avid kickboxer.
